Mr. Schlier
presently is the founder of Avonik, specializing in high level consulting within
the information technology and process improvement sectors for large and mid-size
companies.
Previously Mr. Schlier founded GSX Groupware Solutions
and served as CEO and CTO from 1996 till 2008. He was also the principle
architect and designer for the companies’ leading monitoring software product GSX Monitor for messaging environments,
including Lotus Notes, BlackBerry, Exchange and Sametime to name but a few.
Mr. Schlier successfully led GSX Groupware Solutions from
a startup to a respectable organization with over 550 worldwide clients,
including 27% of Fortune 100.
With over 15 years of experience working as software designer and messaging
network architect, Mr. Schlier worked for IBM and Arthur Andersen/Andersen
Consulting. As a contractor, he led the design and deployment of several of the
world's largest E-mail networks. He is an internationally seasoned professional
and an industry recognized expert and leader in this domain.
Mr. Schlier was awarded both a Masters degree
and a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Science Engineering
by the University of Sophia-Antipolis.
